This is an example of a Fortune City web site as created by Carl of Carl's Place Research. As you may have noticed, you aren't being bombarded with unsitely ads in either pop-up windows, and not inserted in the existing page either. And with 20 MB to work with, it's quite an attractive offer. As a matter of fact, the only thing I don't care for on this host, is the URL. You'll notice the URL for this page includes a portion called 'os2'. I was given the option of several 'subject' oriented areas to put my site, and I chose computers. Once that choice was made, the url you see now was handed to me. If I'm going to have to have a long url, at least give me more control as to what that url is... | |||||||||||||||||||||||

The purpose of this question is for people who happen to surf onto this page from other places than the research page. Essentially, Carl has taken on a project of comparing certain services available on the web, and reporting them on his home site.
